Today for reading we made a thinking key. We picked the alphabet thinking key. The instructions said that we had to write all of the letters down and write words that represent reading.

Coach St. Kents

Today in the morning some St Kents students came to our school. They were coaching us. Some people were playing soccer, rugby tag and touch. We played a knee game and we had to practice playing soccer.

All about TONGA

The past few weeks we have been learning about Tonga. It was easy for me because Tonga is where I come from. It was also easy because I had alot of help from the group I was working with. Their names are Tristan, Tupou and Kain.

"Don't waste the water!''

Today we read a book called ''Don't waste the water!''. It is about a girl named Elisapeta. It talks about how she cares about water. She gets up every day early to fetch a bucket of water. She tells us why wasting water is not right.

Why family is important?

                     Family

The most important people to me is my family. I love my family for a reason and it is not because they are my family. I love them because they will love me no matter what I do and say. I also love them because they provide me with water and food. They also look after me when I am sick. My family helps me go through private stuff like bullies.

The other day we made a speech about something we love. So I wrote about my family and why I love them.

Harry's war

Today we read a book called ''Harry's War'' it was about how he was treated in war with his friends. His friends were treated like they were sheep that were kept in a pen. In their training they attacked sacks with bayonets. They went to camps like Sling Army Camp on the Salisbury plain. At the end they used chalk to draw a kiwi on a mountain.
